After the first #365 project I did was completed in 2015, I felt a weird sense of relief, and the pressure of staring at my feet all day for that perfect 460×460 frame had ended.

So then Instagram did something which redefined the whole platform, they stepped away from square photos and it opened an entire new “window” into these same two feet. A lot can happen in a year and well basically what I mean is I got a lot of new shoes since then too.

If you’ve been following my adventures (sometimes misadventures) over the past few years on Instagram, you would have undoubtedly seen my feet photographed, 365 times – sorry. These two feet took me from coast to coast, from Cape Town to Limpopo, with many stops in between. On the first of January 2016, I kicked off another year of #365Feet. Oh and to mention I know 2016 has 366 days but it’s in essence a #365 project so trying to explain #366 to someone is like explaining the relevance of G+ to a client…near impossible.

So far I’ve visited 5 of the 9 provinces (In 31 Days) in South Africa, and at this rate I’ll have been to all 9 within a couple of months. Here are the first 31 of #365Feet:

WEEK 1: January 2016Week 1

Week One: In Review

What’s the point of getting a  new car without hitting up a road trip in it right off the bat? Clarens and Golden Gate over new years was incredible and  Johannesburg shortly after certainly got the first week of the year off to a flyer.

A Month of #365Feet in 5.37 seconds
low-res

February is coming next with 29* days. I’m not sure if I need to try exceed the distance travelled in January or live like a normal person for a month before my 10 day March holiday kicks in?

Have a favourite out of the first 31 days, or think there is some aesthetically pleasing looking floor I should check out? Drop a comment below.

I’ve got shoes to clean, later.
